Daphne A. Drescher

Daphne A. Drescher is the sole proprietor of Drescher ProParalegal.

Her professional training and over 20 years of litigation experience enable her to provide knowledgeable and experienced paralegal services to attorneys and law firms in any location.

Daphne spent ten years in Washington and Alaska state and federal jurisdictions, first in personal injury practices, and then in an insurance coverage and defense practice. Work in smaller firms and practice groups provided her an opportunity to manage cases from inception through trial, and occasionally through appeal. Back in California, Daphne gained experience in corporate, securities, class action and intellectual property litigation in numerous state and federal jurisdictions. As lead paralegal on numerous large cases, she managed teams of junior paralegals and clerks. Daphne now returns to her early contracting roots, providing professional and experienced paralegal services to attorneys and law firms of all sizes, working on site and remotely from her home office.

Daphne has written curriculum for and facilitated numerous MCLE and in-house training seminars for legal support staff. Her articles and Practice Tip Sheets can be accessed on the frequently updated Resources page of her web site. She writes a blog focused on entrepreneurship, her adventures in running a new business, and her expertise in the paralegal profession. She also writes a newsletter for paralegals, legal secretaries and other legal support personnel focused on practice tips and other items of interest to her colleagues in the profession.

With a longstanding love of cooking, entertaining and wine tasting, Daphne recently relocated to Sonoma County in order to experience all the opportunities related to these interests afforded by life in Wine Country. She writes a blog chronically her cooking and wine tasting adventures.

Daphne enjoys meeting other legal professionals, business owners and fellow wine enthusiasts, both in person and "virtually" on line.
